Outgoing Richmond CEO Brendon Gale has spoken for the first time since becoming the Tasmania Devils’ inaugural CEO.

Gale told 3AW Football he’s “excited about the opportunity” but there’s still a “lot of good work to do at Tigerland”.

“I feel energised, I feel motivated, there’s still so much to do,” he said.

“I just felt the narratives pointing to sort of change and evolution and maybe that includes me.

“Fifteen years had a nice ring to it and I just felt the time was right for the club.”
