Leigh Matthews has stated he’s “horrified” at the thought of a 20th team coming into the AFL.

It comes after reports former AFL CEO Andrew Demetriou, along with Nathan Buckley and Andrew McLeod have joined a taskforce to investigate the feasibility of an AFL club in the Northern Territory.

“The numbers are just too much for me,” Matthews said.
