What new research has found regarding proficiency in the workforce
New research from the Australian HR Institute has found one out of five workers are not proficient in their role.
Chief executive officer and managing director at the Australian HR Institute, Sarah McCann-Bartlett, says part of the reason for the lack of proficiency is due to employee turnover.
“There are a lot of reasons for this, and it doesn’t necessarily mean being incompetent … over 30 per cent of employers still have annualised turnover of 20 per cent,” she told Tom Elliott.
