Weapon produced as wild brawl sparks chaos at shopping centre
An incident has unfolded at Watergardens Shopping Centre on Friday afternoon.
Tony told 3AW Afternoons shortly after 12:30pm a brawl unfolded in the shopping centre, with one individual pulling out a weapon, sparking a furious response from other shoppers before the situation was brought under control by police.
“There was a brawl in the middle of the shopping centre,” he said on 3AW.

“Two people were fighting with each other and one pulled out a weapon – people were coming out of the other shops to tackle them.”
Police later confirmed a 30-year-old Sunshine man had been arrested after stealing a knife from a grocery store, before using it tt assault and threaten a 21-year-old man and 20-year-old women.
