Reporter reveals why Erin Patterson wants mushroom deaths case heard locally
The lawyers of the woman accused of allegedly poisoning her ex-husband’s family, has requested for her case to be heard locally in Gippsland despite the longer wait times.
Channel Seven reporter, Cassie Zervos, says the local court doesn’t have the capacity to hear the committal hearing.
“So he (the judge) suggested to move it to Melbourne – for it to be heard in Melbourne,” she told Jacqui Felgate.
