Former AFL umpire Darren Goldspink gives his opinion on the dramatic finish in Adelaide
Former AFL umpire Darren Goldspink has given his opinion on the dramatic finish in Adelaide, which saw Essendon win by three points.
It was a controversial finish with Bombers ruckman Sam Draper diving on the ball in the final seconds, with Adelaide players pleading for a holding the ball free kick.
“If he had his time again, he probably might not dive on the ground after the game trying to incite a riot at Adelaide Oval,” Goldspink said.
