Why driverless trucks on Victorian roads are ‘absolutely’ the future
Driverless trucks are “absolutely” going to become commonplace in the years to come, according to the Victorian Transport Association.
A six-month trial in Victoria will launch on Thursday across two of the state’s biggest freight routes, with the specialist vehicles making use of modern road technology.
“This is absolutely going to happen,” Victorian Transport Association Peter Anderson told 3AW Breakfast.
