Defamation trial result an ‘unmitigated disaster’ for Bruce Lehrmann, according to top lawyer
Lawyer Justin Quill says Monday’s court ruling is an “unmitigated disaster” for Bruce Lehrmann.
Mr Quill represented Channel 10 during the much-publicised defamation trial, after Mr Lehrmann originally launched legal action in 2021 following a TV story which claimed Lehrmann raped former political staffer Brittany Higgins.
The veteran defamation lawyer believes Mr Lehrmann hoped this country’s defamation laws would benefit him.
