The Greens have announced their support for the State Electricity Commission (SEC) after they got Labor to agree to key changes.

Greens MP for Brunswick, Tim Read, says one of the key changes will make it harder for a future government to privatise the SEC.

“We were particularly keen to ensure this or a future government can’t just raid the SEC’s coffers to prop up the budget,” he told Heidi Murphy, filling in for Jacqui Felgate.
