Tony Shaw’s on-air confrontation with former teammate over drug taking
Collingwood premiership captain Tony Shaw has confronted former teammate Gavin Crosisca on 3AW over his illict drug addiction during his career.
Drugs in footy have been in the spotlight this week as a result of revelations in federal parliament blowing the lid on the AFL’s illicit drugs policy.
“I don’t think I’ve ever said this to you,” Shawry said on 3AW Football.

“If I knew you were on drugs when I was captain (at Collingwood), I would’ve wanted you sacked.”
Crosisca heavily defended the league’s current policy, praising the AFL for seeking to rehabilitate players who are caught taking illicit drugs.
