Tom Elliott has stated the state government is in “dire financial straits”, predicting the upcoming state budget will be a “horror show”.

He also predicts it will be Victorian Treasurer Tim Pallas’ last budget before stepping down and “sailing into the sunset”.

“We will pay the collective price for the government’s fiscal ineptitude,” the 3AW Mornings host said.
