Malcolm Turnbull shares why he thinks four-year federal terms are ‘just right’
Former liberal Prime Minister, Malcolm Turnbull, has weighed in on a push to implement four-year terms at the federal level saying it would be “just right”.
He says everyone in politics will agree with the change saying it makes sense.
“However, there are two problems with this, firstly, it would mean you would need to have eight-year terms for senators, that’s something you just have to suck up and accept,” he told Tom Elliott.
