‘We’re gagged’: Heidi Murphy frustrated with Victorian suppression laws
Heidi Murphy isn’t happy with Victoria’s current suppression laws, which prevented the public from knowing the identity of Samantha Murphy’s alleged murderer for several hours after he was charged.
While the suppression order preventing the naming of Patrick Stephenson has since been lifted, the 3AW host said the current system was letting down the Victorian public.
“We’re gagged,” she said on 3AW Drive.
