A 22-year-old man has been charged with the murder of missing Ballarat mother Samantha Murphy.

“Police are yet to recover Samantha’s body,” she told Tony Moclair.

3AW Police reporter Madelaine Burke says the man has no links to the family.

“He’s not related to the Murphy family, he had no connections to the family either, so we’ll wait and see what comes from this,” she told Tom Elliott.
