A dead frog has been found in a packet of Coles butterleaf lettuce by one concerned customer.

Caller Bella told Jacqui Felgate about her unwelcome surprise and said she was “pretty concerned” at the lack of communication from the supermarket giant after raising the alarm.

“We freaked out a little bit and raised an enquiry with Coles,” she told 3AW Drive.
