Valium tablets are being recalled amid concerns the drugs may have been stolen and substituted with different medicines.

Pharmaceutical company Roche has issued a recall notice for batches of Valium 5 milligram tablets supplied in 50 tablet packs.

AMA president Tony Bartone says there are unconfirmed reports a worker has replaced the pills with other medication.
