Residents in Tullamarine have petitioned for the removal of a tall gum-tree they say is a danger to the community.

Petition organiser and Tullamarine local, James Pantalone, says they’ve reached out to the council who claim the tree is safe.

“Over the years, branches have fallen and caused damage to the footpath,” he told Tom Elliott.
