A man has been found dead in a burnt vehicle in Echuca just after 4am.

3AW police reporter, Madelaine Burke, says it’s believed the man had been in police custody on Wednesday for a positive breath test.

“The investigation will be over seen now by the Professional Standards Command, which is normal procedure,” she told Tom Elliott.
