Tom Elliott has stated the AFL is “unusual” with the salaries for executives compared to the players.

The 3AW Mornings host said the salary difference in the AFL doesn’t occur in “any other major sports league in the world”, specifically referencing the NFL in America.

“I don’t think that’s right,” Elliott said.
