A boss trying to give his staff Christmas bonuses has revealed 10 per cent of the 30 gift cards he purchased had been tampered with.

Brendan says the cards from Coles had the digits scratched off and were unusable.

“They took the four digits off the front and three off the CCV at the back,” he told Tom Elliott.

Another caller, Brad, revealed he was also unable to use an Apple gift card he received.

He says when he tried to activate the card, it wouldn’t work.
