Warning to residents in Melbourne’s north-east after string of attempted aggravated burglaries
Residents in Doreen are being urged to be vigilant after a series of attempted aggravated burglaries overnight.
Miranda told Jacqui Felgate she was disturbed when she checked security footage and saw an unknown person trying to open her locked front door.
“Just to think someone is at your property, it’s just so scary,” she said.

Police confirm they’re investigating a series of attempted aggravated burglaries in the area, with a group believed to have tried to enter properties on Gyrfalcon Way, Tanunda Drive, Pademelon Street, Coobowie Drive and Midland Road. They were spotted in a light-coloured Toyota Camry.
