Shane McInnes has called on the government to “significantly decrease” the amount of illicit drugs circulating at rave parties in Melbourne.

His comments come after nine people were hospitalised for overdoses at an event last week, with another party set to take place this weekend.

“We must significantly decrease the rate at which this illicit and deadly drugs are available,” Shane said on 3AW Drive.
