A new report has revealed how many general practitioners are still bulk-billing patients.

President of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, Dr Nicole Higgins, says various federal governments in the last ten years have not invested in the Medicare rebate.

“That has meant it hasn’t kept up with the cost of providing care and the gap has gotten wider for people,” she told 3AW Breakfast.
