Father calls for more ‘transparency’ in the vaccination system after son’s health scare
A Melbourne father has called for more “transparency” in the vaccination system after his 18-year-old son was put in an induced coma from Meningococcal disease.
Father Paul Wright told Shane McInnes on 3AW Mornings his son Lachie was vaccinated for four strains of Meningococcal but it doesn’t include strain B, which he was struck down with, and costs an additional 150 dollars.
In South Australia it’s free, and Mr Wright believes it should be in Victoria as well.
