Entertainment reporter Peter Ford has given his thoughts on Jimmy Barnes’ “shock” health scare, with the musician undergoing open heart surgery yesterday.

Ford said Barnes was “blunt” in informing the public of his health battle, and spoke on how long he believes the Australian music legend will be out of action for before returning to the stage.

“At least he’s alive and well and on the mend,” Ford told Jimmy Bartel and Mark Allen.
