New South Wales farmers in costal valleys are distressed by the missed opportunity to store more water. 

Earlier this year the coastal harvestable rights rules were changed – meaning farmers couldn’t capture as much water onto their properties.

Rural reporter Georgia Kondek spoke to the state Irrigators Council Chief Executive Clare Miller about how farmers are being impacted by the limited water storage.
