Neil Mitchell has slammed “idiot” protestors who were seen blocking the entrance to a hotel in Docklands where families of Israeli victims and hostages were staying in Melbourne.

“Sadly, in my last days on radio, I’m starting to feel I don’t understand much about this country after all these years,” the 3AW Mornings host said.

“These idiots are targeting victims!”
