Australian singer and actor Johnny Ruffo sadly died on November 10 from brain cancer, and a memorial service was held in Perth at his old high school hall on the weekend.

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford admitted there were wishes from Ruffo’s family for the guests at the service which he didn’t think would be “in any way achievable”.

“It restores my faith in people’s decency that they actually did respect the wishes of the family,” Ford told Ross and Russel.
