Walkers abused and drones circling: Local resident launches petition to ‘save’ Caulfield Racecourse
A local resident has launched a petition after changes were made to the reserve inside Caulfield Racecourse.
One of the two dams inside the reserve was fenced off without any warning, while there’s also been claims that drones have been following park users.
Jean Tait, who launched the petition to save the reserve, says dog walkers are also being abused by minority groups inside the park.

“We’ve been threatened verbally and physically and told our dogs could be euthanised,” Ms Tait said on 3AW Mornings.
“I had a drone following me 10 metres above my head where I’ve walked (with my dogs) for many years. Fences have been erected three weeks ago without any consultation around the southern dam inside the Caulfield Racecourse.”
