Sam McClure has called out pre-season narratives from AFL clubs as some teams return to training ahead of the 2024 campaign.

First to four-year players at clubs who didn’t make finals resumed training this week, with many teams conducting a 2km time trial to begin the first block of training ahead of next season.

“I reckon players and clubs need to be very careful with what they say in November,” McClure said on Wide World of Sports.
