Neil Mitchell has taken Merri-bek councillor Sue Bolton to task over a plan to fly the Palestinian flag at the council’s civic centre in Coburg.

The motion was passed on Wednesday night as an apparent show of support amid the current Israel-Hamas war in the Middle East.

“Can’t you just say that Hamas is a terrorist organisation,” Neil Mitchell asked Ms Bolton in a fiery interview on 3AW Mornings.
