Five people have been killed and dozens injured after a BMW SUV ploughed into patrons sitting in a beer garden outside the Royal Hotel at Daylesford last night.
Today reporter Christine Ahern said it was an “absolute scene of carnage”.
“Ambulance Victoria describe it extremely chaotic,” she told Ross and Russel.

The tragic incident occurred at 6pm, with the driver identified as a 66-year-old male from Mount Macedon.
Among the five people killed were two children, with the victims yet to be formally identified.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined and the investigation remain ongoing.
