Shot fired before five arrested in Melbourne’s west
WORD ON THE STREET
Police have shot at a car before arresting five people in dramatic fashion on Thursday.
3AW Drive was flooded with calls from Melbourne’s west, with several police cars in pursuit of a vehicle through Werribee and Hoppers Crossing.
Police later confirmed they’d stopped a vehicle near Heaths Road just after 3pm when it turned and sped off.
The car was driven at a police member as it drove away.
The vehicle was later found dumped on Robert Close and five people were arrested shortly after.
Nobody was injured.
Investigations have begun.
