Police are appealing for information to help solve a case dating back 57 years, in relation to a woman’s body which was located on Sorrento back beach on February 25 1966.

It is unknown if the woman was from the area or how she came to be at the beach.

Police have today released a computer generated image on what the woman may’ve looked like, as well as another image of a woman which may help solve the mysterious death.
