‘Will not divide us’: Anthony Albanese speaks after Voice defeat

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says “we must seek a new way forward” in the wake of the Voice to Parliament referendum defeat.
“While tonight’s result is not one that I had hoped for, I absolutely respect the decision of the Australian people,” he said.
“This moment of disagreement does not define us and it will not divide us.”
