The cost of the Voice to Parliament referendum has been confirmed by AEC spokesperson Evan Ekin-Smyth after Tom Elliott saw a figure in the newspaper yesterday!

Mr Ekin-Smyth said there’s a “little bit of a difference” between the cost of a federal election and this referendum.

He also clarified the rules surrounding blackouts of Voice advertising, after Tom Elliott was alerted to an email of a person witnessing a ‘Yes’ ad on TV just 72 hours before the day to vote.
