Victorian musician campaigns against new transmission lines in her town
There is mounting backlash in the north-west of Victoria over new transmission line, and a musician in an impacted area has penned a song against them.
Eleanor Parry lives in Gooroc, near St Arnaud where the line will run through some homes and farms, which she says is a “massive” fire hazard.
“We just wanted to help the community by getting out the message that this is happening to us and it’s not right,” she told Neil Mitchell.
