Three councils in Melbourne’s north have banded together to start planning for Victoria’s newest city located north of Kalkallo.

Major of Hume City, Joseph Haweil, says his muncipality, along with Mitchell Shire and Whittlesea will bring a metropolitan activity centre.

“It is a big place and that’s why we want to make sure we avoid the planning missteps of the past and deliver something that’s quite spectacular,” he told Tom Elliott.
