Neil Mitchell has accused new Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan of starting to look as “slippery” as her predecessor Daniel Andrews over comments made about the Commonwealth Games.

On June 13, Allan told the media she was “confident” the Games would go ahead, but the state government now claim lawyers were briefed in June secretly and sent out to London to get out of the Games.

“Her credibility is on the line here,” the 3AW Mornings host said.

3AW State Political Reporter Stefanie Waclawik then asked the Premier as she entered Parliament today on what date the lawyers were engaged to cancel the Commonwealth Games.
