MP reveals why cat curfews have no impact
The City of Melbourne will be debating tonight on a proposed ban to stop cats from roaming.
Animal Justice MP, Georgie Purcell, says cats curfew don’t have any impact.
“It’s very easy to demonise cats and use them as a scapegoat rather than address other things impacting native wildlife … cat curfews do nothing for the majority of cats that are causing the problem,” she told Tom Elliott.
