A kitten has been rescued from a bin in Craigieburn after a disturbing dumping incident.

A resident opened her green bin to find a kitten inside. She reviewed security camera footage and found vision of a woman placing a box in her bin 33 hours early.

Thankfully, Karen the kitten has found a happy new home.
