Scientists from Cambridge University have found talking to a therapist may not be the best way to deal with your fears.

Senior scientist and program leader at Cambridge University, Professor Michael Anderson, says the practice of talking to a therapist for your fears is an old idea.

“Freud came up with it over a hundred years ago and it seems to persist,” he told Jimmy Bartel and Mark Allen.
