The Andrews government today announced new restrictions on rent increases as well as a 7.5 per cent levy on short-stay accommodation

The plan also aims to build 800,000 new homes per year over the next decade.

Town Planner, Bill Kusznirczuk, says the plan is “well overdue” and says people who need homes should be protected from “unintended consequences”.
