CEO of the Australian Travel Industry Association, Dean Long, has called for the federal government to reverse their decision to block additional air routes for Qatar Airways in and out of Australia.

The Senate is holding an inquiry into the federal government’s decision and the role Qantas played, with Mr Long appearing as a witness before the inquiry.

“It doesn’t make any sense,” Mr Long told Tony Jones, filling in for Neil Mitchell.
