Time for major change to AFL food ads say experts
Fast food advertisements during the football season are part of a wider issue in Australian advertising and food culture say experts.
Dietitian and Nutritionist Jemma O’Hanlon says that a system “overhaul” supported by government is needed to make positive changes to food that is advertised and eaten.
“The more we can limit this advertising and the more healthy food companies that can do advertising, I think the healthier we’re going to be,” she told Jimmy Bartel.
