A number of businesses who share outdoor space on Upper Heidelberg Road in Ivanhoe have been left devastated after a big truck stole $15k worth of umbrellas, chairs and grass on their strip at 1am this morning.

Owner of Souva So Good John, and Harry the father of George who owns Gotham Donuts, voiced their devastation at the brazen theft.

“It really it a heartless heist,” Jacqui Felgate said.
