One of Australia’s most popular dating apps is being sued for alleged misrepresentation over the pixellation of photos on its free version.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has launched Federal Court action against eHarmony, claiming the dating app made misleading statements about pricing which it alleges were in breach of consumer law.

Life and dating coach Dan Van says he’d “probably steer clear” of dating based on pixelated photographs.
