Chairman of Dymocks John Forsyth has come to the defense of Qantas CEO Alan Joyce in a letter to The Age, calling recent backlash a “witch hunt”.

He says people have “underestimated” the difficulty of Alan Joyce’s role in keeping Qantas afloat during the pandemic.

“There are very few people in the world that could do it,” he told Neil Mitchell this morning.
