Police are investigating a series of arson attacks at a Moonee Ponds tobacco store dating back to May.

Emergency services were called to the store in the early morning on Tuesday 23 May and Friday 26 May after reports of a loud bang on Young Street.

In both incidents, the roller door had been pulled up and flammable liquid thrown inside.

No one was present at the business when it was set on fire and nobody was physically injured during any of the attacks, but the building sustained minor damage.
