FULL TIME
Sydney has run away with a 50-point win at Etihad Stadium.
Lance Franklin finished with four goals, while Nick Riewoldt kicked three for the Saints.
On a sour note for the Swans, Harry Cunningham has a suspected broken foot. Saint Jack Newnes missed most of his 100th game with concussion.
Jimmy Bartel praised the Swans’ structure and discipline.
“They kept the Saints’ defenders at home,” Jimmy said.
“They didn’t allow them to generate that run-and-carry.”

HALF TIME
Sydney leads by 11 points at the main break.
Dan Hannebery and Harry Cunningham have booted two goals for the Swans, while Jade Gresham has two for St Kilda.
Jack Newnes’ 100th game ended early after he was concussed in a brave contest with Callum Mills.
Jimmy Bartel said there are good signs for St Kilda heading into the second half.
“The Swans have had the game on their terms, but they’re only nine points up,” Jimmy said.
But he said the Saints’ key forwards need to “get on their bike”.

St Kilda CEO Matt Finnis spoke to 3AW before the game.
He spoke to the call team about the tumultuous week in which the club was embroiled in a scandal over on-field sledging.
“We won’t get it right all the time, but our guy put their hands up,” Finnis said.
“The leadership group has to take responsibility for what it represents on behalf of the club, and pleasingly they did that.”

It’s 6th v 15th at Etihad today.
But coming into the season, who would have thought it would be the Swans who were 15th?
With both sides hitting form, this should be a much closer game than the ladder positions might suggest.
